The Danube Island is the most popular recreational area of Vienna. Not only the visitors enjoy the nature of the island for walking, cycling, jogging, skating and beach volleyball games, they also like the idyllic beaches to swim. The island also invites to the SUNKEN CITY, which is open from May to September. There you find bars, clubs and restaurants by the water front:  festivals, live events or sports activities take place regularly. But if you want to enjoy a Danube view, you can directly book a “Panoramic City Tour with Boat Ride” on the Danube and the Danube Canal.
