“Genuss” food festival in Stadtpark

This weekend the yearly „genuss festival“ will take place. From Friday May 6th to Sunday May 8th Stadtpark will be all about food. A large selection of regional specialities, starting with Viennese ham, home-made jam and cheese specialities from Vorarlberg (west Austria) up to smoked fish specialities from Burgenland will be offered to all visitors.

The main idea behind the festival is to support regional products and their best producers of the country. If you are interested: why don’t you get informed in advance and see which producers will take part. All the 9 states of Austria will be represented as well. Check out the map of the park for orientation.

The best thing is: The admission is free and the weather forecast is sunny, so enjoy the Austria’s delis in one of the most beautiful parks of Vienna. How to get there: U4 Stadtpark, or walk along the ring road, if you are already in the city centre.
