About 109 hectare of space around Vienna’s Main Station will become an entirely new district in Vienna. Flats, shops, offices, schools and parks will develop around the new train station.
The train station’s central location is supposed to enhance the European train connections from North to South and East to West.
Since December 2014 the major train connections from North, East and South of Europe stop at Vienna’s Main Station. In addition there is a new train connection from the city to Vienna’s airport Wien Schwechat. Trains that travel from West to East will continue to stop at Wien Westbahnhof, right next to our Boutiquehotel Stadthalle, in addition to stopping at Vienna Main Station.
Our Boutiquehotel Stadthalle is situated in a central, yet quiet location, right next to Westbahnhof train station. From Vienna Main Station you can reach Westbahnhof directly by tram number 18, without changing lines, in only 15 minutes.
Take tram number 18 – direction Burggasse-Stadthalle/ Urban-Loritz-Platz – and get off at Westbahnhof only 9 stops later. From there it is a 5 minute walk to our hotel.
Don’t forget: travel by train and receive our green bonus* – a 10% discount on your room rate for your environmentally friendly way of travelling.
*Please note that a maximum of 10% discount can be granted per stay. The Green Bonus and Returning Guest Bonus only apply to regular room rates. They are valid for bookings made directly with the hotel and are not available for package bookings, reduced rates like Green Chance/ Green Saver bookings, company rates or for our Pension Stadthalle
