Green idea of the month: Earth Hour 2015
Earth Hour is a real success story. What started out as an event to support environmental protection became one of the most well-known annual events in terms of protecting our planet. The event by the WWF takes place world wide and the number of its supporters increase each year. In 2014 there were 167 countries and 7000 cities that took part and helped to convey the message that we need to protect our planet.
Everyone can participate, whether in small actions like switching off lights, and electronic devices when not needed, reducing one's personal shower time by 1 minute every day, separating waste and so on. Choose a small or a large project to show that you care: Here are some ideas: https://www.earthhour.org/take-action.
This year Earth Hour will take place on March 28th, from 8:30-9:30 pm.
We will take part! Will you?
