As promised we start this week with the portraits of our regional suppliers and start with:
Trausners Genusswerkstatt in Mauterndorf, Lungau Salzburg
Eva-Maria and Walter Trausner produce together with their team and endless passion in their own family-run business tasty jam, delicious fruit jelly cubes and their infamous Enzo-lemonade. Only ingredients which come from house gardens, selected fruit growers or directly from the harvest from the “Biosphärenpark Lungau” are used for the products of the “Genusswerkstatt”. They themselves say: Our supplier? It’s the nature. Those condiments are getting refined by beet sugar from Austria, so actually all used substances are regional procured.
Since over 10 years, the Trausners Family and their team are doing what they love the most and what they know best: fabricate new creations with a lot of love, which are not only super tasty but also regionally and substainably produced. The goal of the family business is to work in accordance with the nature, to protect her and to spoil us with the most delicious creations. Starting from strawberry-lavender marmalade through gentian-syrup to peppermint fruit jelly cubes, the “genusswerkstatt” lives up to it’s name. And didn’t just capture our hearts but also our tummies 🙂
