ICHM runs the show! From January 28th to January 29th 2012 a class of international hotel management students will run our Boutiquehotel Stadthalle. While the hotel owner Michaela Reitterer invites her staff members to spend a weekend together, celebrating a late Christmas party, the class of MODUL Tourismus Schulen Wien will be doing our job of happily serving breakfast to our guests, helping with information, check in and check out at the Reception, making sure all technical amenities work as they should, as well as assuring cleanliness and a homely atmosphere.
The 22 international students, aged 18 to 45, have already had 3 semesters of training in Hotel Management involving both theoretical and practical lessons. We started the project planning in September and held trainings in November and December. Trainings in January have just started.
This BIG HOTEL CHANCE is a rare opportunity for students to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real life setting, carrying full responsibility for what they do.
In the following weeks we would like to present some of the students to our future and former guests! Today we will start with Denise, who will be responsible for the morning shift at the Reception.
