The “Smart Cities Week 2013” takes place from the 27th to the 29th of November 2013 in Vienna and is organized by the Austrian Climate and Energy Fund with the Austrian Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology.
Smart City means to ensure and to increase the life´s quality of people through innovation while going easy on resources and on the environment: for example the reduction of greenhouse gases and energy consumption, without sacrificing mobility and consumption.
The Smart City conference is focused on presentations about European Smart City initiatives, keynotes to the challenges of the Smart Cities such as on “Climate change adaptation in the urban context“.
