Nouvelle Vague, the well-known French band, stayed at Boutiquehotel Stadthalle last week. The band is currently touring through Europe and stayed with us during their 2-day-break. Their next stops include: France, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Belgium and Germany.
The band was founded in 2003 and was originally designed to be a music-project with different musicians taking part at different times some of which include: Camille Dalmais, Phoebe Killdeer, Mélanie Pain, Marina Céleste, Gerald Tot, Liset Alea and Mareva Galanter.
The idea of the producers Marc Collin and Olivier Libaux was to cover 80s songs mainly from the punk and new-wave era. The songs were however covered in different styles such as bossa nova and electropop which give them a totally different touch and sound, making them extravagant.
