Here comes the third regional supplier in our portrait-line: Biohof Fink, Grafendorf in the "Steiermark" Since 1975 the Biohof Fink is focussing on biological agriculture. The belief of the family-run farm in the region "Steiermark", to work in a completely organic way was already strong back then, when "biological agriculture" wasn't in the mindsets of other farmers in the region yet. The big vision behind is the production of natural food, which saves the ground, the water and the environment. Because the motto at Biohof Fink is: Healthy ground, healthy plants, healthy food, healthy people :) As a pioneer in biological agriculture the Biohof Fink doesn't only sell it's freshly harvested fruits and vegetables to wholesalers, markets, market driver and large kitchens, but you can also get seasonal fruits/ vegetables every 7 or 14 days for your private household in the Bio Power Box, which will be delivered directly to your home. Of course there are different sizes of the Bio Power Box available and it can be matched to the costumers' preferences. Here comes the second portrait of our regional suppliers: Dorfkäserei Pötzelsberger, Adnet in Salzburger Land For 120 years already the Pötzelsberger family is producing organic cheese through traditional cheese dairy method exclusively from natural raw milk and organic additives. The family run business in the "Salzburger Land" is working closely together with the Adneter dairy farmers, who decided to manage their agriculture sustainable. What does it mean? Economize in harmony with nature and operate within the initial circulation of land, plants, animals and humans. Without chemical fertilizer or long transportation routes. And because of the species-appropriate animal-rearing and feeding of the dairy cows the raw milk has an enormous high nutritional value. And benefits the environment. With a lot of passion and cross-generational expertise the "Dorfkäserei Pötzelsberger" is producing more than 10 different cheese types, each one with an individual flavour. Starting from a "flowery" cheese through an exotic "spicy" one with chilli to the classic one "Magdalenenkäse" you will find not only kind employees in the "Kaslad'n" but also additional home-made natural products from the cheese dairy and different specialties from the agriculture of the Adnet farmers. As promised we start this week with the portraits of our regional suppliers and start with: Trausners Genusswerkstatt in Mauterndorf, Lungau Salzburg Eva-Maria and Walter Trausner produce together with their team and endless passion in their own family-run business tasty jam, delicious fruit jelly cubes and their infamous Enzo-lemonade. Only ingredients which come from house gardens, selected fruit growers or directly from the harvest from the "Biosphärenpark Lungau" are used for the products of the "Genusswerkstatt". They themselves say: Our supplier? It's the nature. Those condiments are getting refined by beet sugar from Austria, so actually all used substances are regional procured. Since over 10 years, the Trausners Family and their team are doing what they love the most and what they know best: fabricate new creations with a lot of love, which are not only super tasty but also regionally and substainably produced. The goal of the family business is to work  in accordance with the nature, to protect her and to spoil us with the most delicious creations. Starting from strawberry-lavender marmalade through gentian-syrup to peppermint fruit jelly cubes, the "genusswerkstatt" lives up to it's name. Delicious ORGANIC Breakfast

Tadaaaaaa - News about the probably most beautiful triviality in the world: food. Our delicious ORGANIC breakfast at Boutiquehotel Stadthalle with tons of regional delights is not only 100% biological  but also soooo delicious. The products on the breakfast buffet are fresh every morning and regionally produced. And our guests can choose between the most delicious ingredients: tasty fruits and vegetables, excellent types of bread, sweet pastries, marmelade made from finest fruits, savoury cheese types, piquant sausages, wonderful juices and a large range of teas are only some of the delicacies which are waiting for our guests. For sure we offer different coffee-variations so you can start your day in the traditional coffee-city  "the vienna way". We provide greatest possible flexibility to our guests who have special demands: whether lactose-free, gluten-free or vegan, everybody finds suitable products at our organic breakfast. And what's best about the organic breakfast? We know all our local suppliers personally and know exactly where our products come from. And since we are so proud of that fact, we want to say thank you to all of the wonderful people who stand behind the products. Stay over night „Climate neutral“

Travelling with a good feeling At Boutiquehotel Stadthalle our guests have been sleeping with a clear conscience for a long time. Acting sustainably in daily life is a matter of course since 2 generations. ZERO-ENERGY BALANCE The expansion of our cozy Vienna Boutiquehotel makes us very proud. Our new building is not only the perfect addition to the existing, thoughtfully renovated period town house, but it maintains a zero-energy balance as well. It means that in the course of a year our Boutiquehotel creates the same amount of energy that we require to run it. For this, we only use renewable energy sources like 130m² solar and 93m² photovoltaic panels, ground water heat pump. But that was not enough for us and we wanted that our guests are able to stay with us climate neutral. Our ecological footprint has been calculated with 163 tons per year. We will be able to compensate this amount in cooperation with the team of Zukunftswerk in the next 2 years. PROJECT WIND POWER Due to our interest in wind energy we have chosen a project in India.
