Donauinselfest- Europe’s largest open air festival

The Donauinselfest – Danube Island Festival- is the largest open air festival in Europe. It provides 7 areas with different styles of music. The so-called “islands” host: alternative, Indie, Hip Hop (FM4), Rock (ATV), Electro (PULS 4), Culture, Cabarett and international music (Ö1), German speaking folk music (Wr. Städtische), country and western (Donau Versicherung); and of course pop music (Ö3). The 28^th Danube Island Festival will take place from Friday, 24^th of June to Sunday 26^th of June.
