10 years of Albertina
2. MrzIn March 2013 the Albertina Museum in Vienna celebrates the 10th anniversary of its reopening. The Albertina was opened again in 2003 after several years of closure with a brilliant new look!
Since then, the museum has become one of the most important museums of Vienna. The anniversary will be celebrated with special exhibitions and parties.
The celebrations will take place from the 11th to the 17th of March 2013 with a comprehensive program:
Don´t miss the major “10 years of the Albertina” party on the 15th of March from 8.00 pm to midnight with DJs. All visitors will have free admission to all exhibitions.
On the 16th of March visitors can try out the art program of the Albertina for free, too. The 17th of March is an “Open House Day” with free admission as well.
From Boutique Hotel Stadthalle you can reach the Albertina with the U3 or the trams 49 and 1, 2 & D.

7. NovStarting on November 9th an exhibition on René Magritte, surrealist of the 20th century, will be shown at the Albertina museum. The exhibition will last until the 26th of February 2012.
Pop Art with Liechtenstein and Ramos
31. JanPop Art – born in the 1950s, successful and leading in the 1960s, resurrected in the 1990s – is coming to Vienna. The Albertina museum will exhibit the works of the most famous Pop Art artists Roy Liechtenstein “Black & White” and Mel Ramous “Girls, Candies and Comics”.
