The game-festival is an annual event that offers the opportunity to try out and play all sorts of games. It is a celebration for everyone who likes to play games and get informed about the novelties in this field, children just much as adults. The festival is the largest event for families in Austria.
On January 28th and 29th 2012 the class of ICHM3 - MODUL Tourism college Vienna will run our Boutiquehotel Stadthalle. Whilst the regular staff members will spend their weekend in Güssing for recreation the class will take the chance and take over all their responsibilities. At the kick-off meeting, ICHM3 could get a first impression of the hotel and met the team supporting the owner, Ms Michaela Reitterer (front middle). Everyone, who is curious to see ICHM3 in action is cordially welcome!
On the 26th of October Austria celebrates its national holiday. This bank holiday reminds of October 26th 1955 when the Austrian national council voted for the country’s declaration of neutrality.
Our planet’s future depends on us!
The energy and environment week for children between 8 and 12 years of age will take place from November 8th to November 11th 2011. Children will get the opportunity to learn about the activities and measurements companies and public organizations take in order to act save our planet’s resources.
With the help of various presentations and creative workshops firms will portray what they invented and developed in order to save our planet. Our hotel will also be represented on Wednesday, 9th of November 2011. Find out more about the programme and registration.

On October 7th the kickoff event of Private City Hotels took place at the palace of Hellbrunn. Private City Hotels is a group of individual, privately run hotels in Salzburg, Vienna and Nuremberg. Each hotel has its own personal and individual style, each hotel owner recounting their own (hi)story.
Another famous and successful musical – Sister Act – is currently in town. Enjoy a colourful stage, entertaining choreos and the comical success-story of the singer Doloris van Cartier who happens to witness a murder.
From October 20th to November 2nd the annual Viennale will take place. This international film festival is an absolute must in Vienna’s event scene.
Several Austrian and international premieres are going to be shown: documentaries, feature films, special programmes, retrospectives, biographies and tributes in lots of small and cosy cinemas in the city centre.
Lebkuchen hearts, steins of beer, Austrian traditional clothes Dirndl and Lederhosen, folk and pop music is what you will get, but also the little something Viennese that comes with it: exquisite Viennese cuisine and of course Viennese wines!!!
The long night of museums will take place for the 12th time this year on October 1st. Sponsored by the ORF – the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation, this event tries to bring culture closer to the people. More than 660 museums and galaries all over Austria will participate in this event and you can visit as many places in one county as you like with only 1 ticket. Museums and galaries are going to be open from 6pm to 1am.
